Advantages of Bulldozers

While you can find many CAT bulldozers that are larger (the Caterpillar D3 is the company’s smallest dozer) or more specialized (the enormous Caterpillar D11 has no equal for mining applications), you’d have a hard time finding something that manages to be compact and highly versatile. Besides ease of transport, this means a lower operating weight and lower ground pressure than you’d get on a bigger dozer like the Caterpillar D6. And the hydrostatic controls are user-friendly, making this a good fit for less experienced operators.

Should i rent or buy a CAT D3 K2XL?

Buying a new bulldozer is an expensive proposition, and buying used isn’t that much cheaper. In fact, used equipment tends to be a crapshoot, since you can’t always be sure of the previous owner disclosing the maintenance history, and finding one with low hours, a good undercarriage, and no mechanical issues can prove a challenge.

Renting, on the other hand, means only having the equipment around when it’s needed. You don’t have to wonder about maintenance history, since we maintain and service our machines between rentals and also offer on-site support 24/7 when needed. If you live in the Snohomish area, a rental from Link Equipment simply makes sense.

Rental Rates

Something else that simply makes sense: our rental rates. We keep it simple; you pick your rental term (a day, week, or month, with rental hours charged in eight-hour increments), you pay your money — starting at $375 plus delivery for an eight-hour rental — and we take care of the rest. We’ll worry about transport and maintenance, leaving you free to concentrate on the job at hand instead of worrying about your equipment.
